Please join us on Sunday, June 19th to hear guest speaker, Rev. Elivia Melodey who will share her insights on “Imagination – the Key to Happiness.” Imagination is the 7th Power as given by Unity Cofounder, Charles Fillmore. Would you like to have more grace, abundance and radiant health in your life? Can you hold an imaginative thought for a full five minutes?  Relaxed and focused imagination is key to your success on all levels, no matter what you endeavor to change. During this era of increased perceived limitation and lack, Rev. Elivia will share how powerful our focused imaginative minds are, in creating even more joyous realities for each of us.

Each of us has 12 creative powers that are fundamental to us. These are aspects of our Divine nature. The notion that each of us holds the Divine within us, that we have a spiritual nature along with our humanity, is not new. But most of us don’t have a method for developing our spiritual capacities.

Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore, who was strongly influenced by the Transcendental movement, went on a committed spiritual search. It led him to Eastern spirituality, which he integrated with the Christianity of his upbringing. He created the 12-power system more than a century ago. Based on the reality of the divine spark within all people, Fillmore used the disciples of Jesus as exemplars of the 12 powers.

The 12 powers provide a system for soul growth. Our minds can be a link to Spirit through these 12 capacities: wisdom, love, strength, faith, imagination, order, understanding, will, power, zeal, release, and life itself. We can paint the life we want by focusing on, understanding, and cultivating these 12 spiritual powers.

Ocean Unity is offering both in-person Sunday services at our church home in Waldport, as well as virtual services through Zoom – same day, same time. Services begin at 10:45 am (U.S. Pacific Time) with a time for fellowship beginning at 10:15. See more details below about how to join us online.

There’s a ramp in the parking lot for easy access as well. There’s even a drive-through coffee shop in the same parking lot for your morning pick-me-up.
