The First Spiritualist Church of San Diego has had a long and colorful history, playing a major role in the development of Spiritualism in San Diego for more than one hundred years. It has progressed with the times, seeing many changes in San Diego as well as within its own parameters. They believe and affirm that life continues past the death of the physical body and that is possible to communicate with those in Spirit.

Messages from Spirit are a part of all Spiritualist Church services, as one of their Principles is that “Communication with the Dead is a so-called fact, as demonstrated through mediumship. This demonstration takes place every Sunday. Elivia and others will be bringing Spirit Messages to selected members of the congregation.

Rev. Elivia Melodey has been a practicing Spiritualist medium since 1985. She is the former Director of Education at Harmony Grove Spiritualist Association in San Diego and is  highly respected for her accuracy and Mediumship Development skills. Many of her past students are now professional mediums. She has been a keynote speaker at numerous national conferences and has been featured in many media outlets.
